What is WISE?

WISE stands as Wide-Field Infrared Survey Explorer. WISE is a mission that will explore the outer limits and potential future threats to our solar system. It will cost approximately $5 million to operate. WISE uses infrared imaging to find other planets. When the mission is finished, it will provide data on Earth's formation, and help us understand how the solar systems works.
